Out & About app

Why not make travel time or waiting a time for learning? Help your Prep to Year 2 child practice their first 100 sight words with this bright and fun app when you’re out and about.

Kids can select a word set of ten words, then try to say the word that appears. If they can’t remember the word, they can touch the screen to listen or swipe to the next word on the list.

This app also contains additional games and ideas for parents to help your child recognise sight words. Out & About for iOS and Android is available for free download from the iTunes Store and Google Play.

Ideas, activities, flashcards and placemats are also available here or download the flashcards in different languages here.
